VHS Silliness

My cheeks still hurt from laughing last night as Mike, Dawn, and I watched old VHS tapes from high school. Okay, yeah, there were a lot of embarrassing, immature things we'd rather forget than re-live, but on the whole, most of it was awesome.

VHS. An obsolete technology. I really can't believe I've saved all these tapes.

A cross-section of our life: our kids' ultrasounds mixed in with
our wedding tape, our Trading Spaces episode, high school
cheerleading competitions, proms, and lip sync contests. Crazy.

Mike had to make a trip to Radio Shack to get a cable
for the VCR. I can't believe it still works after at least
10 years in a closet!

Vintage footage of the Original Cowheads: Aaron, Lee, Mike, and Eric.

Aaron and Lee are sporting some acid wash jeans and Mike appears to be
wearing pajamas...? Lee, true to form,  is in a tie-dyed Grateful Dead Tshirt.
  And then the laughter commenced...

It was this kind of silliness that got Dawn's exasperated
parents out of bed multiple times a night on sleepovers.
"Girls, go to SLEEP!" We're big girls now, but still darn silly.

PJs. Couch. Blanket. Movies. Best friend. Awesomeness.

I  mean seriously, we can still giggle like we're 17. It's ridiculous.

Mike is snapping away. He's like the paparazzi.
We've finally had enough!

  2. Do you have your high school modern dance recital? I vote you put some of this on YouTube so we can all giggle.
